Bergen County Department of Public Works Maintenance Complex

RSC Architects’ design of this 68,000 s.f. facility for the Bergen County Department of Public Works addresses our firm’s master planning efforts for this site, houses multiple divisions, and allowed for the decommissioning of an existing Department of Public Works maintenance garage.

Located within Paramus, New Jersey, this complex features a new vehicle maintenance and storage garage, an administration building, a salt storage structure, a central fueling station, and a 450,000 s.f. accessory yard area. RSC’s use of pre-engineered metal buildings saved both time and money, and the site can now accommodate multiple divisions, including the Operations Department, Mosquito Control, Environmental Services, and the Hazardous Materials Division.
