RSC Architects’ extensive renovation work to the Township’s neoclassical-style municipal building involved interior ADA renovations; complete exterior envelope upgrades; and the repair, repointing, and waterproofing of the building’s masonry in order to seal the façade from water infiltration.
The municipal building’s 5,000 s.f. roof was also replaced with a new, pitched, standing seam metal roofing system with modified bitumen and tapered insulation, as well as polymeric slate shingles made of recycled content. In order to restore the original appearance of the building, RSC also replicated the facility’s existing green patina metal roofing.
