Located at the northernmost part of Ocean County College’s campus and serving as a gateway into the school grounds, this addition is interconnected with the College’s existing Performing Arts Center, and serves both undergraduates and students from Ocean County Vocational Technical School.
The addition contains a concentration of specialized performing arts spaces – including a 225-seat black box theater, dressing rooms, dance studios, an audio laboratory, a recording studio with isolation booths, a performing arts classroom, a vocal classroom, a lighting and sound classroom, and a costume design classroom – as well as a range of core instructional rooms, science laboratories, and general classrooms.
Its large lobby space complements the theater and is used during performances, and its exterior – which features brick, metal panel, and curtain wall – matches the existing architectural style of the campus.
