Sponsored by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority, this project is the fourth new building that has been constructed by the NJSDA within Jersey City to help relieve overcrowding within the District’s schools.
RSC Architects served as the Architect on the Design-Build team who was responsible for the design and construction of this new three-story, 123,000 s.f. elementary school that serves approximately 775 pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students. It features twenty-five general classrooms, ten pre-kindergarten classrooms, five kindergarten classrooms, specialized instruction classrooms and laboratories, a media center, a multi-purpose/assembly room, a cafeteria, a gymnasium, physical education and play areas, and administrative/support facilities.
