RSC Architects’ programming, design, and complete gut renovation of two existing 1970s-era stepped lecture halls involved providing new finishes, lighting, built-in furnishings, and glass entries, as well as new podium-controlled audio-visual systems, electrical power upgrades, and HVAC modifications to enhance each student’s learning experience. These rooms – which are each 1,200 s.f. – now feature new contemporary colors and textures, acoustical panels, carpeting, attractive front walls with glass boards, soffiited ceilings, and linear lighting.
