Due in large part to Hudson County Community College’s growing enrollment, its underutilized Two Enos Place facility required both interior and exterior renovations to accommodate new students, as well as to satisfy ADA compliance regulations.
RSC Architects’ renovation work provided new classrooms, faculty offices, toilet facilities, a computer laboratory, a student lounge for the College’s financial support offices, tutorial departments, a writing center, and ESL resources, among other programs.
The exterior of the building received new door canopies, upgraded windows and treatments, refurbished masonry, handicapped-accessible entrance ramps, and new landscaping. The scope of work also involved a roof replacement, interior demolition work, asbestos abatement services, new building systems, partitions, and accompanying finishes.
