RSC Architects’ gut rehabilitation and alteration work has converted a first-floor corporate center into new orthopedic offices for Englewood Health, with a new entrance that enhances patient experience and offers improved accessibility.

Englewood Health’s orthopedics practice now offers thirty-two exam rooms – double the exam rooms they maintained before RSC’s design work – that are designed in a pod formation around medical assistants’ and physician assistants’ stations to improve patient flow efficiencies. Touchdown stations and durable medical equipment storage areas per pod also allow staff to remain near patients.

Three x-ray radiography rooms have been incorporated, with one room for reductions and portable x-ray equipment. Administrative and doctors’ offices are situated near the building’s perimeter to take advantage of the daylight.
