In order to consolidate Coty’s research and development divisions into one facility, RSC Architects provided Design-Build services to renovate a 96,800 s.f. warehouse and office building into their new Building 500 Headquarters. This endeavor also required significant renovation work and an 18,800 s.f. expansion of the facility’s existing mezzanine area.
Visitors now enter into a circular, two-story lobby with a reception desk and a curved staircase. The new headquarters includes office spaces, conference and multi-purpose rooms, dry and wet laboratories, a pilot plant, secure storage areas, and warehouse spaces. The integration of video and internet technologies was also an important consideration for this international company.
