When Coty acquired an office space at their headquarters within Morris Plains, New Jersey, RSC Architects designed renovations fit for their beauty brand and business – complete with a new hair product and dye laboratory, as well as natural, airy corporate spaces – all on an accelerated schedule.
This renovated, 19,000 s.f. facility includes new offices, conference rooms, a high-tech telepresence suite, and testing laboratories for mascara and foundation products, which are arranged and designed in a complementary color scheme to create a cohesive flow.
RSC also worked closely with Coty’s staff members in the design of a new, 12,890 s.f. state-of-the-art hair product and dye laboratory that had many unique requirements – new plumbing was carefully selected in order to accommodate Coty’s need for domestic water and additional demand outside of the DI water system that already existed. This work was fast-tracked to ensure its functionality for the arrival of Coty’s staff members, and its construction occurred next to active office and laboratory spaces with no distractions.
