RSC Architects’ rehabilitation and historic preservation work on this existing 33,600 s.f. historic facility from the 1900s involved sandblasting away years of damage to its original façade and designing a new 29,500 s.f. addition to house its municipal functions, including the mayor’s and commissioner’s chambers, as well as its tax collector, treasury, and comptroller departments. A new parking garage was also erected in order to provide adequate space for additional traffic to the building.
