Lacking sufficient space and unable to keep up with the City’s growing requirements, Englewood’s ninety-year-old, outdated firehouse needed to be replaced with a modern, contemporary facility, which RSC Architects designed and delivered.
This two-story facility includes five drive-through firetruck bays – four double bays and one single back-in bay. Among other spaces, the design integrated a dining room with a large kitchen, a state-of-the-art training room, a weight room, a decontamination room, separate male and female dormitories and locker rooms, and administrative offices.
