These three new independent structures provide state-of-the-art training for both the statewide fire and police departments, including fourteen new propane-fueled, live-fire training props that are strategically placed throughout the facilities.

Together, they total roughly 27,000 s.f. and resemble real-world structures, including a commercial building with a theater and a mall, a multi-use strip mall, and a single-family home.

A multi-phased construction approach was utilized in order to allow the existing campus to remain operational during the two-year construction period. In addition to the above-grade structures, the initial project phases implemented campuswide utility improvements, including domestic and stormwater upgrades, electrical service upgrades, and an expansion of the campus’ existing propane system.
