Cutting-edge technology, STEM training, and resources are now available at Bergen Community College through this new laboratory – appealing to a large number of students and offering new opportunities for engagement and innovation.

The design of this STEM Research Center and Makers Space involved careful planning so that the suite could be reconfigured and rearranged for various educational programs and collaborative areas. The existing walls were demolished, and the space’s finishes, ceilings, and lighting were reconfigured to transform the 3,200 s.f. space into an open work area for power tools, work benches, 3D modeling, 3D printing, and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, as well as a robotics room, a drone testing area, a conference/breakout room, and a large classroom for presentations and instruction.
