In order to help Bergen Community College launch a new campus in the Meadowlands, RSC Architects designed and transformed an existing five-story building at 1280 Wall Street West within Lyndhurst, New Jersey, into a new 118,000 s.f. Meadowlands Campus.
This facility accommodates programs for both full-time and part-time students, as well as short-term and continuing-education students. It features a cafeteria and an adjoining kitchen, science laboratories, teaching classrooms, computer laboratories, administrative offices, conference rooms, and student common areas. The school’s prime location also allows Bergen Community College to provide enhanced educational services to southern Bergen County.
RSC completed all of the design and construction phases on time in order to facilitate student and faculty move-in for the upcoming semesters. All of the phases were also completed on schedule.
