Taking Collaboration and Sustainability to New Heights
Taking Collaboration and Sustainability to New Heights
When RSC was retained by RVM Enterprises to fit out their new office on the 25th floor of 525 Washington Avenue within Jersey City, collaborative spaces and energy efficiency were two top requirements.
This 25,000 s.f. space boasts a central elevator lobby that invites visitors in through RSC’s thoughtful application of materials and light. Curved wing walls and glazing separate the main floor from the open and perimeter offices, interior workspaces, and conference rooms that surround it, while maintaining an overall design continuity. Exposed deck, ceiling clouds, soffits, and coordinated light fixtures generate circulative patterns throughout the floor, and the office’s multi-purpose room and boardroom are outfitted with a vertical folding wall and state-of-the-art multi-media packages.
Also designed by RSC to meet the stringent requirements of the NJ Grow initiative, the office’s lighting and conditional control systems meet the necessary conditions for energy usage and workforce equipment.
