Hackensack, NJ – February 8, 2023 – Hackensack University Medical Center is celebrating the grand opening of the campus’ Helena Theurer Pavilion, a 530,000 s.f. eleven-story critical care and surgical pavilion that includes:
- 24 state-of-the-art operating rooms – six that are designed to accommodate robotic-assisted surgery systems that perform minimally invasive procedures.
- 50 intensive care patient rooms.
- 100 medical/surgical private patient rooms.
- A fifty-bed orthopedic institute with a CT scanner to minimize the need to move critical patients.
- New Jersey’s first intra-operative MRI system for neurosurgical and neurointerventional procedures.
RSC Architects served as the overall project Architect-of-Record and Core and Shell Architect, with Page serving as the Design and Medical Planning Architect, as well as the Architect-of-Record for the interior build-out.
