RSC Celebrates Hackensack University Medical Center’s Central Utility Plant ASHE Vista Award Win for Infrastructure

San Diego, CA – March 17, 2024 – RSC Architects attended the 2024 International Summit and Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design and Construction (PDC Summit) and accepted the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) Vista Award for Infrastructure for the Hackensack Meridian Health Central Utility Plant, alongside Hackensack Meridian Health and members of the CUP project team.

The attendees on stage – along with many others – planned, collaborated, and worked together to design the plant, centralize the campus’ existing infrastructure, and safeguard the continuous operations of the hospital’s facilities – all while increasing capacity and promoting resiliency.

ASHE’s Vista Awards recognize innovative and collaborative projects within the healthcare design and construction realm on an annual basis, highlighting the ways in which effective communication, data-driven decision making, and safe project management processes positively impact healthcare projects and outcomes.
